Depending on the nature of your enquiry or booking, this information may include:

  • details relating to your retreat enquiry;
  • booking and payment information;
  • communications exchanged with us;

We currently do not intentionally collect health, medical or other special-category personal data as part of our standard booking process.

We do not currently operate a newsletter or regular email marketing programme.

7. Instagram and WhatsApp

These platforms operate under their own privacy policies and may process information independently from The Lobster Society.

The Lobster Society does not control how Meta Platforms, Inc. or its affiliated entities process personal information within Instagram or WhatsApp.

We recommend reviewing the privacy information provided by those platforms if you use them to communicate with us.

8. Payments

Retreat payments are currently generally made by bank transfer.

We do not collect or store payment card information through our website.

When you make a bank transfer, certain information relating to the transaction may be processed by our bank or payment service providers as necessary to process and document the payment.

We may retain information relating to payments where required for accounting, tax, contractual or legal purposes.

9. Sharing Personal Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share personal information where reasonably necessary with:

  • professional advisers such as accountants, legal advisers or consultants;
  • technology and hosting providers;
  • analytics or advertising service providers;
  • retreat facilitators or service providers where necessary to deliver the retreat;

15. Children

The Lobster Society retreats are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

Our services are not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through our retreat booking process.

The Lobster Society is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties.
